The RVA Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter fosters friendship and caring relationships to make a difference in our communities. We value our differences, with members ranging from recent graduates to 50-year-plus members, from singles to newlyweds to families to empty nesters. Our sisters are accountants, attorneys, educators, sales professionals, marketers, consultants, artists and authors  We share a lasting bond as Chi Omega "Sisters on Purpose."

An active book club meets monthly September-June. "Lunch Bunch" also meets monthly to connect over lunch at various venues. Pop-up events are also organized around area offerings such as art exhibits.

Three events occur regularly each year:

- Fall annual meeting, typically a brunch get together

- Winter "Hoots and Hurricanes" party with guests

- Eleusinian Tea held in the spring to commemorate our April 5th founding

We join with Chi Omega sisters everywhere to support the Make-a-Wish Foundation, forming a team annually to "Walk for Wishes."
